For over 60 years, Abed’s has been part of how Barbados dresses, creates, learns and lives. It started with fabric. Fabric for the dress you imagined. The curtains that changed a room. The school uniform pressed the night before. The sofa given a second life. The costume made for the road. From first days of school to first homes, workdays to weddings, Crop Over to Christmas, Abed’s has been woven into the moments that make up Bajan life. As our customers’ lives evolved, so did we. Today, Abed’s is a third-generation Barbadian family business offering fashion fabrics, curtain and upholstery fabrics, outdoor textiles, home décor, soft furnishings, school uniforms, workwear fabrics, trimmings, daily essentials and more. But one thing has never changed: We believe good design should be within reach.
